Membership

The normal route to Full Membership (£15 per annum) is via Associate Membership (£10 per annum). Associate Members are expected to apply for Full Membership after one year, having submitted three works for approval by a subcommittee, usually in the spring.

FAS currently holds its main exhibitions in the spring and in the autumn. Associate Members may submit two framed works at each exhibition. Full Members may submit four framed works as well as unframed works. Three dimensional works my also be exhibited.

People who wish to support the society but do not wish to exhibit can become Friends (£10 per annum). All Members and Friends can visit FAS exhibitions and other events which may be organised on an occasional basis. They will also receive the Journal (currently published twice a year) and any newsletters and notices.

The Society’s membership year runs from 1st January.
